Project 1 : Dholera airport project
The high traffic from the Ahmedabad airport, which is on the verge of saturation, will soon be transferred to the Dholera International Airport.
The Dholera Airport project, which is located 80 kilometres from Ahmedabad and 29 kilometres from Dholera, would be constructed on 1700 acres of land and is anticipated to have two enormous runways. The Dholera Airport has been given the go-ahead by the Airport Authority of India, and the government has allocated land for the project.
Project 2: Dholera Solar Power Plant
The state government had approved the 5000 MW Dholera Solar Park, India’s largest solar power project and the largest of its kind globally, earlier this year. Prime Minister Modi’s goal of producing 175 gigawatts of electricity through renewable energy by 2022 will be greatly aided by the dream project.
In what location will it be constructed?
The Gujarat State Government has designated 11,000 hectares of waste land for the construction of a solar facility. The land is CRZ type 1(B) and is situated in the Dholera Special Investment Region’s Gulf of Khambhat region. Such area can be utilised for producing renewable energy or for planting mangrove trees. There won’t be any difficulties getting environmental clearance approvals.>/p>
Project 3: Dholera SIR Project
The Dholera Project, which would double the size of Mumbai and six times the size of Shanghai, is arguably one of the largest projects the Indian government has ever imagined.
Given the rapidly increasing issues associated with urbanisation, India needed to find a way to counteract the unfavourable circumstances. It appeared that the creation of 100 smart cities around India—the Dholera SIR Project being the first—was the most practical way to address the problem.
Project 4: Tata Semiconductor
Tata Semiconductor Dholera is a strategic endeavor by Tata Group to establish a cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing facility in Gujarat’s Dholera region. With a significant investment, the project aims to meet India’s rising semiconductor demand and reduce import dependence.
leveraging Dholera’s advantageous infrastructure and the Indian government’s supportive policies, Tata Semiconductor Dholera intends to bolster India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. This initiative aligns with the national goal of self-reliance and positions Tata Group as a key player in India’s semiconductor industry. Ultimately, the project is poised to drive economic growth, technological innovation, and job creation in the region.
Project 5: 250 MTR Express Highway
The 250-meter Express Highway in Dholera plays a crucial role in enhancing the region’s infrastructure and connectivity. Spanning across Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), this expressway facilitates efficient transportation within the area, linking various industrial, commercial, and residential zones. By providing swift and convenient travel options, the highway supports the growth of industries and businesses in Dholera, fostering economic development and investment.
Additionally, it aligns with the vision of transforming Dholera into a smart city and a prominent economic hub. The 250-meter Express Highway serves as a vital component of Dholera’s infrastructure, contributing to its emergence as a model city for sustainable development in India.
